OpenFor each $k$, each group of order $k$ is totally $k$-closed, while the alternating group $A_k$ is not totally $(k-2)$-closed (see 20.1 for definition). Is there a fixed integer $k$ such that all finite simple groups which are not alternating groups are totally $k$-closed?
